Better late than never, our pic for today revisits the Alcoa Theatre episode “The Town Budget”. This entry in the popular anthology series debuted on December 15, 1958. Cop-hating thief Jonas definitely does not have a concealed weapon permit.

I’d dearly love to see a proper commercial release of this series – not only so I can get decent screen caps, but also because it was a prime example of the now nearly forgotten anthology format. I strongly believe this type of series deserves a revival.
