Ladies and gentlemen, presenting Tim’s stellar, unforgettable film debut in William Wellman‘s Across the Wide Missouri (1951)!

Long story short: Tim hitchhiked to Colorado and finagled his way onto the set and into the film. He’s lying there in the stream soaking wet, freezing, shaking, and his teeth are chattering. Wellman hollers at an assistant, “Keep that jerk still, he’s supposed to be dead!” Well – you gotta start somewhere, right?
