Today we revisit the Mannix episode “The Odds Against Donald Jordan,” first broadcast on March 1, 1969. Mannix (Mike Connors) is paying a visit to his hipster bookie pal Moose to, well, get the odds against this Donald Jordan fellow (James Olson).

Tim has a great rapport with Connors here. How cool would it have been to have Moose become a recurring character on the series? About as cool as it’s possible to get, that’s how cool. Alas, it was not to be.
