Our video of the week is Joel Schumacher‘s D.C. Cab (1983) in its entirety. Which is actually a shame, because for once, the entirety of one of Timothy’s films is not what is relevant to our interests here at this particular little spot in cyberspace. What you want to do here is fast-forward to the very end of the film, after the end credits.
Best. End. Credits. Sequence. Ever. The unfazed cabbie is the late great Charlie Barnett.
By special request, our pic of the day (I hope I don’t need to remind you to click to embiggen) is from Joel Schumacher‘s D.C. Cab (1983). The credits have rolled and you’re getting out of your seat. But wait! There’s Tyrone (Charlie Barnett) sitting in his cab. This really creepy-looking guy gets in.
TYRONE: Where to?
CREEPY-LOOKING GUY: I am the Angel of Death. Take me to Hell.
TYRONE: Got any luggage?
Greatest post-credits bit of all time. You’re welcome.
