It’s time for another look at the premiere episode of Baretta, “He’ll Never See Daylight”. It first aired on January 17, 1975. Garrulous gangster Matty Trifon is enjoying a night on the town with his boss and their girlfriends. I am not sure who the actress is playing Matty’s rather confused moll; it might be Judith Hanson. Anyone know for sure?

This was another episode directed by the legendary Bernard L. Kowalski, who apparently was not afraid to let Timothy have his head when it came to characterization. The infamous begloved chicken-eating scene follows shortly after this shot.
