Our Video of the Week is a rarely seen made-for-TV movie from 1973 (but filmed in 1971), The Bait. It stars Donna Mills as an undercover police officer on the trail of a killer rapist. Timothy can very briefly be glimpsed at around 47:38, as security guard “Big Mike.” He looks good in red!

This film was based on the novel of the same name by Dorothy Uhnak, the former New York Transit Authority police officer who forged a successful second career as a best-selling crime novelist. She once knocked down and arrested an armed mugger twice her size. She was said to be extremely unhappy with this particular adaptation of her work. Can’t say as I blame her too much.
