Our pic of the day revisits “The Golden Wolf,” the episode of Cowboy G-Men that first aired on September 27, 1952. Timothy is crooked wolf hunter Jake Kirby, selling the same recycled wolf skins to unsuspecting buyers with his partner, Gil Clement (Robert Lowery).

Tim appeared in six episodes of the series. It does my heart good to think of all those little baby boomer cowboys and cowgirls gathering around the television on Saturday mornings and watching Tim.
