I got word on this about two hours ago and have already purchased it. Can’t wait to watch it. Hmm, maybe it’s time to have Marissa on my next podcast episode???
That would be awesome. I have guests lined up for EP02 & EP03 already, so maybe we can talk over email for a guest spot in EP04. We’ll talk Tim and review his film. Will be loads of fun!
Awesome. I saved the address. Might want to remove it from this conversation so you don’t get spammed. I’ll email you this weekend to get a recording date set.
I saw the world premiere of WGS at a midnight screening at the Cinema Theater on Western in late 1963/64, run by John Fles. TC was there with his snake. The guy who managed the theater introduced me to him. I told TC that I was a big fan, loved him in films like The Killing. He gave me his best fish-eye look, but his python never moved a muscle. The WGS made a big impact on me, though I don’t know how it went down with the midnight viewing audience. By the way, check out my blog for all things noir. At some point I think I’m going to have to post something about TC.
