As promised, this week’s video is the Trailers From Hell treatment of Stanley Kubrick‘s Paths of Glory (1957). The reviewer is the late George Hickenlooper, who directed both feature films and documentaries. Of special interest is Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse (1991), on the travails that accompanied the filming of Francis Ford Coppola‘s Apocalypse Now (1979).
Hickenlooper has great things to say about the film and particularly Timothy’s performance. This is a wonderful site that provides hours of enjoyment and illumination. Check it out!
The Timothy Carey Experience 
This is a great film for so many reasons. The story and the supporting cast are wonderful. And seeing Tim in the trailer after all these years (been forever since I’ve seen this film) is a reminder to all of us on just how powerful his on-screen presence could be.
